Full, three window view with right side being enhanced with a basic cube in 2-point perspective. This was for a scheduled PRH MOMA visit. Mindscape II was a full blown one & two-point presentation, emphasizing the Phenomena-of-LINE, and what the Cone-of-Vision means in the illusion created in 2-D of 3-D objects, herein in "deep space."

"artlies" magazine cover (Issue 29, Winter 2000-2001). This is an all windows opened photo. The artlies Cover was a DETAIL of the left central area interior. This is the structuring of 2-D perspective illusion back into 3-D reality, emphasizing Phenomena-of-LINE issues.

The Chinese Community Center, Houston,TX, hosted this exhibition/installation. The principal objective of Mindscape VI was to demonstrate the various Cone-of-Vision distortions as the viewer's position changes in seeing a CUBE in 2-point perspective, the 2-D illusion of 3-D. The polygon presented is an actual 3-D CUBE, regardless what the camera view "records" or viewers "see". Funding was from a Project CACHH grant AND numerous private donors.

After the first month of the CCC exhibition/installation, more two-point perspective drawing lines were introduced with Mindscape VII, answering numerous requests by Chinese H.S. seniors and College students studying architecture, math and art. ONLY the Central Chamber Window was made available for viewing to enhance the 2-D illusion of a 3-D CUBE in 3-D deep space reality. Cone-of Vision distortion was thus minimized in the set-up of the 2-point perspective CUBE, and how it can be multiplied.

The last scheduled week at CCC, curves were attempted in a very unstable installation; therein, introducing the DoV module back into installation works, concentrating on the phenomena of LINE. This could be viewed only from the Center Chamber Window.

A very unstable, temporary two-point perspective presentation for the Jewish Community Center, Houston, TX, Events Program Director. Erected at the Chinese Community Center, viewing restricted for this brief presentation to the Right Chamber Window. Other elements dealing with the phenomena-of-LINE introduced. The scheduled JCC exhibition was canceled due to massive building renovation during 2002-03. Funding would have been partially from a Project CACHH grant. Moved to Mother Dog Studios for a week-end Art Crawl installation to satisfy the grant AND private donors.

Final day with staff, children and artist visitors; Chinese Community Center, Houston, TX, after dismantling of Chamber interior Lines-of Light.

Second Mother Dog Studios deep space Chamber installation for Art Crawl 2002. This is from the Center Chamber Window, separating the view from the Right window with a double layer of scrim. This deep space installation was separated from the other two viewing windows with a black velvet wall, isolating the DoV module in a 2-D Isometric view. The refracting tape module was a flat 2 x 3' free floater. Therewith the Art Crawl weekend, Mother Dog Studios, satisfied the Project CACHH grant.

Further experiments with deep-space- probes to an imagined (and researched) black-hole edge-horizon. This is an extension of my obsession with the Phenomena-of-LINE issues; herein, when such line edges are principally ephemeral, and attempting to adhere to the principals of deep space, 3-D Cone-of-Vision using three-point perspective.

Spacescape IV blocked out the Central Chamber Window, utilizing only left and right viewing windows. An additional viewing opportunity with ephemeral LINES (of light) into deep space at the imagined edge-horizon of a black hole. Small motor oscillating drive shafts created the line-vibrations. A very complexly unstable installation for a very private viewing audience of DoV collector/devotees.

Following the Mother Dog installations, a pulmonary fibrosis attack (COPD) put an end to the traveling momentum developed with the Mindscape/Spacescape Chamber installation/exhibition arrangements with 46 various institutions and alternative spaces. Never recaptured the momentum. This hospital ICU setting serves as an installation itself, " Looking good, now he can have visitors."
